Backlight Bleed, not IPS Glow.

Should I worry about backlight bleed on the lower left part of my Corsair Xeneon 32qhd240? Does backlight bleed get worse over time? I can mitigate the issue a little bit by disabling HDR, but I kind of like to use the features I paid for.

ips glow is reduced when you increase distance of your eyes from monitor and bleed will be noticable. 32 inch monitor would require big distance to not see ips glow and if you are close it will cover bleed but depends on position.

If you open monitor and maybe touch screws  bleed could change. I am not sure can it change during heating and cooling but during that process sound can come from monitor.

I have backlight bleed in one corner but its fine for me. I think backlight bleed will not change over time. If I apply pressure on plastic near area with bleed, backlight bleed area will be lower in my case.

lowering brightness can reduce bleed and hdr option will increase brightness its why you can notice it.

dark scenes are weakness of ips monitors.

I know some games have hdr support but can you share why you use it and is it worth it?

I use HDR primarily because, in my opinion, games are prettier. I could turn it off and see how that goes. I feel like games look better and videos and movies look prettier with HDR. I could be wrong. I have heard HDR600 is not all that great.
