about wraith stealth coolers

ive got 2 wraith stealth coolers. one is a foxconn fan and the other is a coolermaster was wondering which one i should use? the foxconn seems to be able to take in air better but is slightly(?) louder

1 Solution

Yes, that is a Wraith Stealth cooler with a Foxconn fan.  The Cooler Master FA09025LTLPB is about as low end as they come.  If these are the only options for you, use the Wraith Stealth.

However, I don't think it could handle any overclocking or at least very little.

Check out this link for the Prism vs Spire vs Stealth

The Prism would probably be sufficient for your CPU, but if you are going to push higher you would definitely need far better.

If it ain't broke; don't fix it!

I can find a lot of models of coolers for both Foxconn and Cooler Master, but no Wraith Stealth coolers.  That I am aware of AMD is the only brand with a Wraith Stealth cooler and the Prism and Spire both perform much better than the Stealth.

Can you say what CPU you are using and what models of coolers you have.  Both Foxconn and Cooler Master have numerous models.

ryzen 5 2600 OC 3.8hz pretty sure theyre Wraith stealth but heres a pic. they're identical. ill post their model ans such later because ive things to do rn

an AK400 is 35$ would work about 2-3x better than the stealth.  I have my webcam base clamped between the stealth and my old backplate,,, Good paperweight, very stable.

I had the coolermaster fan,, now it blows on my gpu

If I was going to stick with air cooling I was thinking more in terms of the Cooler Master MAM-D6PM-120PA-R1FOR or the NOCTUA NH-D15 for $100.  I like to think ahead of some possible upgrades and this should do the trick for a moderate upgrade on a Ryzen 7 chip.  The research I have done on the Noctua says it will perform as well as a lot of the mid AIO coolers.

the cooler is fine as is while gaming the CPU stays around 60 degrees, sometimes hitting 63 degrees (this is when playing cp77). When putting a full load on it, the CPU barely hits 70 degrees. its not like loud but not super silent either but das fine with me. ive been thinking of getting a new cooler tho either getting the DC GAMMAX v2 or the one volk suggested anyway thanks for helping 🙂

I am using an Assassin 3 its a knockoff huge d15 thing but I like it I sit at low 40's high 30's just idol and I have a nice graph it doesn't get much over 50C(just got to 62 under prime 95 oops) I bring it up because it is also deepcool  I will say the assassin is a Big Boy but I am happy with it, it fits in a 600T

https://www.amazon.com/Assassin-III-Heatpipes-Clearance-Technology/dp/B07T4FNXWDprime 95 and current curveprime 95 and current...

That is definitely a Noctua d15 knockoff.  AWESOME!!!

Love the video.  I do hope that ASSIN III is going to pay for your advertising.

You certainly sold me.  Those temps are phenomenal.  The AIO's have nothing to gain for the price difference and life span of the coolers.

It would be nice but no $. I hope to slam something nicer under it eventually.  It definitely wont fit in my 280x m-atx case. so Id check that it fits but if it does yeah it works well.  I have run water, all in ones ain't perfect. my corsair 120 deep rad pump died after 8 years or so.  I still want to play with oil and motorcycle fuel pumps to circulate. $$$

You have bought up a good point with oil and fuel pump.  If you have the block and the radiator perhaps you might try something like one of these on sprayer pumps.  I just bought a new Delavan for my portable spray rig that I use to spray around grain bins, barns, etc.  But they make much smaller ones like the one on my Porter Cable tile saw, just now thought of that one.  Also check into these decorative pond pumps that circulate the water.  Although you would get a much better life span from something like a fuel pump.  Hey I just now thought of an auxiliary  fuel pump that we had to put on an IH 3288 a few years back, have no idea what the brand is.  Any of those things would probably have a better life span.

Is there any way to put headers on a computer?

Power lines are usually 7200 volts and then a 50kva or whatever transformer transforms that down to two phase 240 in the US, a 200 amp breaker pretty standard. That transformer is a couple coils of wire wrapped round a couple iron cores wrapped in a metal cylinder basting in usually caster oil. I know there is impedence. But that is roughly 65 Horse power… That's a lot of heat. I picked a gas pump because the rubber in a water system would deteriorate.  I actually built a aquaponic system with fountain pumps.  Gasoline is one heck of a solvent, and gas lines on sport bikes can handle some preasure. mineral oil by comparison is much more inert but will still eat water stuff. I want to delid a gpu/cpu no fins no goop just mineral oil copper lines and a 12V 2A Gas pump for a sports bike again because if it can handle gas at high bar it can handle mineral oil through copper flairs, a filter, and crimped ends. I also used to play with muratic, nitric, acids,13.5 bases, Hg, Microwave viscosity meters, Nuclear viscosity meters refracto-meters, flow-meters, H2S calibration, Nuclear density switching, And human hair that curled when it got humid… For Real... at a measurable rate(Fisher-Porter device). So uh yeah I kinda have whacky ideas involving venture’s, Harmony drives, and Honda K24’s. If I had funding I would either start a techno cult or blow myself up trying( not really but its possible) The other whacky idea I have is Freon because might be easier to seal the system.
