9800X3D 5200MHz RAM not working

Hi,

i have the following setup:

AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
ASUS TUF B650-PLUS
CORSAIR RAM CMK64GX5M2B5200C40 ((2x32GB) 5200MHz CL40)

 

On the default settings on 4800MHz RAM Speed the PC works perfectly. But if I enable DOCP with 5200 MHz RAM Speed the PC won't boot.

Before the upgrade to 9800X3D i had the 7800X3D with same Mainboard and RAM Sticks and here the PC worked with 5200 MHz very well.

 

Someone any Ideas?

So the RAM was working fine when you were running the 7800X3D CPU, and now with the 9800X3D CPU it won't run at 5200 MHz.  My first question is, 'Did you do a BIOS update' prior to installing the new CPU?  I think it's likely a problem with the motherboard BIOS running the new CPU.  Check the motherboard's website for the latest BIOS version and install that if you haven't already done so.
