8700G Thermal Throttling?

Is the 8700G now being throttled at 75c? Screenshot below is from a Cinebench multi-core run. Build is AsRock 620I ITX with BIOS 2.08. This did not occur with previous BIOS version,8700G Throttle at 75c.png

You should poke around in the BIOS of your ITX motherboard and look for settings related to the CPU thermal controls.

AMD 8000 series G processors mistakenly have STAPM enabled. Gamers Nexus was the first to point it out, here's an article by Anandtech if you'd rather read about it.

That sounds like the issue, and no fix is currently available until a new BIOS update is released.
