After months of waiting for it to be in stock, I finally was able to get the wood front panel for my case.
I am a little bummed that the panel was only for the front, and the wooden top dust cover was not included. I can't even find a link where they sell it for the 4000D, but I am so happy with how this looks with the orange to purple lighting of my RGB.
Was it a waste of money? Probably. Would I buy again? Yes.
Now should I look at skins for the case?
If you are somewhat of an artist, you might consider painting the non-window side with something AMD related, like that nice AMD logo.
That would be super easy to make a stencil for actually. I will definitely give it some thought.
Hi there, if I understood the info Corsair gave out about the wood panels correct, then there isn't any other wooden panels available for the 4000D currently. Only the 5000D has the wooden panel set with the top and front.
I read that Corsair were having problems with the top wood panel warping.
Makes sense. If you look at other sites there is a top panel like the one shown here.
I want it. I do understand, however, much of the heat coming from my case is pushed through the top. Heat can cause materials to warp. It is unfortunate.
