How To Capture Display Logs (DispDiag and DCE Log)

DispDiag is used to debug display issues that may occur by obtaining monitor EDID data, while DCE Log provides additional info for display connectivity data. To capture these logs, follow the steps below.

 

DispDiag

  1. Reproduce the issue
  2. Run Command Prompt as admin

  3. Run 'dispdiag -out C:\Users\%username%\Desktop\dispdiag' while the issue is still reproduced
    • The file will be outputted onto the desktop

  4. Attach file to related Feedback

DCE Log

  1. Reproduce the issue
  2. Go to C:\Program Files\AMD
  3. Find atikmdag_dce.log
