XL case reccomendation

Hey all, Just to cover my bases, I'm lookng for XL case recommdations that could accommodate an AIO bigger than 360mm? Something that looks good and also has an abundance of airflow options.

Ryzen 7800X3D - Radeon 7900XT - MSI Tomahawk X670e MB - 64gb 6000mhz G-Skill Neo - Noctua NH D15 - Seasonic Focus V3 GX-1000W PSU - 4TB Samsung Gen. 5 NVMe - Fractal Torrent Case - ROG PG48UQ OLED

Well, midtowers can already accomodate 420AIO, like the 5000D. But if You want XL design with MATX in mind, the 7000D can be a good choice although I think its just too big.

Other choices

CoolerMaster HAF 700 EVO
RoG Helios or RoG Hyperion
Phanteks NV7 Extended ATX

Supposedly there will be EVO XL in Q2 of this year. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IRe9qjt2tHw

GN also did yearly round ups about cases. Might could go over 2-3 years back.
But biggest question you should be asking yourself would be the need for HDDs. The reason behind this is that manufacturers decided that 2 HDDs are enough today xD. If you want more 3 then your options are limited as **bleep**.

Either you'd go for instance lian li o11 xl (evo not yet released) or phanteks (i belive they had dual build case - GN did video about that) or go for instance DAS way.

Seeing what you're building I belive HDD is not the way thus maybe lian evo, fractal released few new cases*, be quiet (their big cases have not removeable 5.25" DVD/BR bay well kind of... - good cases tough), phanteks perhaps.
If my memory serves me well:

- king for air flow (you could possibly mount AiO there but there's no point): fractal torrent

- overall flow/aio: Y60/lian li (remember there are no fans and Y60 could have problems with some radiators)

- dual systems / **bleep** ton of hdds: fractal/phanteks

To sum this up: gamers nexus (by some called hairy jesus from youtube xD!) does fantastic job on the subject. From the $$$ perspective of your other components I'd answear with spice girls' quote "what you really really really want?".

* Fractal is the best example of what manufacturer tells you it's possible vs reality. Based on fractal torrent in AiO mode.

HDD is a non issue, I have 3 M.2's on my MB. More for fans and airflow as ill be in a tropical climate. Thanks for the recommendations!

Fractal Meshify 2 XL. It's freaking ginormous, as you can stuff 420mm rads front and top. And up to 18 SATA drives.

But if you're going that big for an AIO, why not go with a custom loop?

Performance over Pretty.

That Meshify case is ridiculous. I watched the video from Geer Seekers or I should say I skimmed the video. You are going to have to get creative just to make it look like it has anything in it. I guess you could dual-loop it or maybe build some kind of a city or something with miniatures. lol I think to make it look right its going to have to be filled. IMO

I was going hard for the Pop Air XL until I discovered the Meshify 2. Downside is, it's about $100CAD more. But the possibilities for a custom loop... Especially since I'm going with a murdered out black on black look... It'll be a monolith.

Performance over Pretty.

My buddy's kid wants to do the same thing to his car. lmao They call it murdering it and black it out everywhere. Personally, that was the first I've heard of it and I have a 16 and 14yr old and neither of them have heard of that before.

Been using the term for years. 🙂

Performance over Pretty.

Custom loop is also on the table, but I'll be on a budget when I relocate and parts aren't as readily available in the philippines... that meshify 2 XL case looks nice.

I really like that front distro plate, might have to include that if I go custom loop. Thank you
