From what I can see, you need one of the AMD “Zen3” (or newer) based processors to get support for AVX 2 instructions.  I would recommend a Ryzen 5000 series (AM4 socket) or 7000 series (AM5 socket).

The FX line of AMD CPUs will work in the AM3+ socket, but they are not the Zen3 level.  In fact, you will need a 5000 series CPU (which is Zen3) to get those AVX 2 instructions.  So that means an AM4 socket motherboard too.  Check out the history of the AMD CPUs for more information about socket compatibility and architecture design.
