Hi ,

I am new to graphics environment, I would like to know some details about AMD GPU opensource vulkan driver.

We are using radeonHD driver for supporting RV516 chipset, We would like to move to AMD Readeon Pro Wx2100 card. We are using Xfree86  server for our graphics support with RV516.  

 Is that possible vulkan driver support xfree86 infrastructure or we do need to port that driver explicitly. 

or x.org has the solution to support  AMD Readeon Pro Wx2100.

Hi, Vulkan Driver is a usermode ICD, theoretically, it should be compliant. If you could tell more about your driver stack you're using on your platform and the targeted platform, it'll be helpful for me to provide the answer.

Anyway, i suggest you start with AMD official driver: Radeon™ Pro WX 2100 Drivers & Support | AMD and manually switch the  Vulkan driver to AMDVLK.
