Dear readers
My system:
- Latest Windows 10 64-bit version
- Radeon RX 480 8GB
- GTX 1060 3GB
- FX 8350 CPU
- 16GB RAM
I would like to notify the developers that a lot of DirectX11 games stutter badly when in Borderless Windowed mode and having VSync enabled. The only workaround is to somehow switch the game to Exclusive Fullscreen mode or to disable VSync which is very problematic, since a lot of games do not support Exclusive Fullscreen mode. Some games from the top of my head that are affected is:
- Star Control Origins (does not support Exlusive Fullscreen)
- City Skylines
- theHunter Call of the Wild (does not seem to support Exlusive Fullscreen)
- DeepDiving Simulator (does not support Exlusive Fullscreen)
There are a lot of other DX11 games affected as well, but I can't accurately remember which ones, but please take not of this. Furthermore, FreeSync is not working properly on my AOC G2460V 75Hz anymore, I get screen tearing when there are framerate spikes, even if I limit to 60FPS on 75Hz.
Kind regards
