I'm much too old for trick or treating, but if they were giving out small glasses of wine, I could be talked into going door to door. I remember a few years ago at a Virginia horse show (where the ladies wear those big hats like they do for the Kentucky Derby) we did a wine crawl. I carried an open bottle to other tailgaters who were drinking wine and offered them a pour from our bottle in exchange for a pour from their bottle. It was great fun. But tonight is also our International Wine Night in my Wine Lovers Forum, and our theme is 'scary label'. I have a cheap Bordeaux bottle (only $8.00 at the grocery store) that has a scary label. It's not a bad wine actually, but we have another wine bottle ready to go from Duckhorn (2016 Three Palms Vineyard Merlot) that will surely satisfy my wife and our friend Lynn who is coming over. I'll be handing out candy and Sandra will be making pasta. It's always fun to see the kids costumes and usually our son Tom brings over the grandkids (Ora and Arthor) to trick or treat at our house. We expect a lot of kids because the rain left last night but it is a bit chilly (low 50 - high 40's F).
Are you wearing a costume? Let's see it.

The kids are coming in big groups! I hope I have enough candy to last the night. I'm giving away five pieces to each kid. I might have to tone that down to three.

Well, I'm ready but here in the city, I haven't seem much I'm afraid.
Last year some kids rang the bell twice and.. that's it. But yeah, I'm ready, plenty of candy around the house.
Today, I'm dressed as a mildly feverish sick atchoooing person, does that count? I have a cute red nose from overblowing.
Feel better soon.
