Apologies for long winded yammering. This just happened and I am very bothered by this. I welcome all input and if it shows me I DID indeed do something that warrants banning that would be helpful to me as well.
I HOPE I can find some kind of understanding here, or maybe insight, at to what just happened to me on AMD Twitch.
I tuned into the AMD stream as I often do and was listening. I say LISTENING as that is what I was doing only LISTENING not commenting. After some time comments by the streamers, and a large amount of what I heard said in general, was divisive and I feel would be judged by some to be borderline racist. I always try to be a kind person but wanted to participate so I typed one thing in the entire chat and was INSTANTLY BANNED. Faster then they could have possibly read what I wrote I was banned. I have NEVER been banned from anything online in my 40 years of online interactions. This is what I typed VERBATIIM;
"Enjoy your stream everyone!! I don't want to take part in any stream that furthers anything except the judging of individuals or people for who they are as an individual. Also saying any question shouldn't be asked and discussions be had, when appropriate, is not a good way to handle an issue. Only my opinion, but I applaud celebrating history, but the way this is being presented is very divisisve. Love all of you & wish you a groovey Sunday! Not what I would hope to see from an AMD stream."
Before I could leave or switch streams I am banned from AMD. No warning, no "hey not what we are wanting here" NOTHING. I have more problems then I would wish on anyone right now so I shouldn't let this bother me as much as it does. I guess that is why I am trying to get some understanding.
