That all changed when I finally saved up enough to get my Asus ROG Strix G15 AMD Advantage Edition (refurbished) for $1,240.64. For the first time, I had a machine that didn’t just run games but let me truly experience them the way they were meant to be played.
I was beyond excited to push this RX 6800M + Ryzen 9 5980HX beast to its limits. But when I looked online for benchmarks and optimization guides for this laptop, I was shocked to find almost nothing. It felt like AMD Advantage laptops were being overlooked, despite their power.
That’s when I decided to document my journey myself. I started testing games, optimizing settings, and tweaking Adrenalin software to get the best out of my system. And in the process… I found myself falling in love with gaming again.
