AMD's Response to Intel Evo: Is There a Laptop Certification Program in the Works?

Hey everyone,

I've been keeping an eye on the laptop market, and it's hard to ignore Intel's Evo certification program, which promises a certain level of quality and performance for laptops. It got me wondering, is AMD working on something similar for their Ryzen-powered laptops?

I believe it would be a significant step for AMD, especially since they've been making remarkable strides in the laptop space. Having a certification program akin to Intel Evo could not only set a standard but also provide consumers with a clear understanding of what to expect from AMD-powered laptops.

Do any of you have any insights or information about whether AMD is planning to launch a certification program for laptops? I'd love to hear your thoughts and any details you might have come across regarding this topic. And, of course, feel free to discuss what you think the impact of such a program would be on the laptop market.

Let's dive into this and share our knowledge and opinions on the subject.

I don't know about an AMD equivalent certification program for AMD-powered laptops, but I wonder if that Intel Evo is an European thing?  Perhaps one of the AMD people (thinking @Sam_AMD) can shed some light.
