So I've taken college courses on both 3D modeling and animation, but both were in cinema 4D. I wanted to learn Maya so I'm taking the animation course again but this time it's covering Maya. (This is all for a minor btw which I've already completed). My professor said though that the course won't really be covering the technical aspects of Maya and that there's a lot of resources in the online library covering it a long with YouTube tutorials in class. It makes me question weather I should drop this course and get a refund and just use these free resources with focusing on my major. There seem to be cool people in the class but I basically went over everything we did in class with the YouTube tutorial course files to get it right.
