When running at 170Hz with Freesync when running Youtube in Chrome with 3d acceleration for a substantially long time after switching to another tab video will freeze to a halt (or it probably will update a frame a minute).
Windows will also produce flicker on some windows (with lots of elements) and when you drag window around fast enough. Monitor is constantly trying to switch to 144Hz on these occasions.
Switching either Freesync or down to 144Hz seems to fix the problem.
