Computer won't turn off with W6600 installed

Can't shut down Shuttle SH570R8 computer when a Radeon Pro W6600 is installed.

Just powers down then immediately re-starts

If I install an NVIDIA RTXA4000, it will shut down.

nothing else is changed on the PC, just swap over the graphics card.

Happens even when I go into bios then shut down the PC with the power switch.

Tried 5 different W6600 cards, same, won't shutdown. I put in a WX7100 and it shut down..

so it's not a windows setting, clean install of windows 10 Pro, and latest drivers Pro edition 22Q2 June 13.

Previous default and latest BIOS on motherboard didn't fix it.

GPU works ok on other computers.

Network is not re-starting it

Fast startup is disabled.

Have tested it on other Shuttle SH570R8 computers and it's the same across 3 different units I tested

Looks like a definite incompatibility between Shuttle SH570R8 and AMD Radeon Pro W6600.

Can anybody confirm or help towards fixing this issue please?

  1. What is the make and model of your monitor(s) connected to your GPU?
  2. What are the cables and adapters used to connect to the monitor(s)?
  3. Please run an AMD Z Report and provide the output:

AMDZ Report
- Please extract the amdz-v312.zip available from https://we.tl/t-S6QHWVk7xs
- Run amdz.exe file as an Administrator
- Select “Save All“ and “TXT“ as the output format
- Click on the blue button to save the report
- The .txt file will be saved in the same folder where you extracted the zipped file

That's a weird behavior, but I bet it's going to be fixed with a BIOS tweak or possibly an updated BIOS to the motherboard.  Make sure the network 'awake' features in the current BIOS, meaning 'awake on LAN' are totally disabled.  It's hard to know what your network activity might be at any given moment.
