which laptops use AMD chips (I'm a civilian ;)

Not everyone is aware that Intel chips have been uninvited spies in their homes and offices for upwards of a decade.

I believe AMD still has some principles in this area. Problem is, learning which mfrs install AMD.

Any info on this greatly appreciated.

Every laptop made furnishes the specifications (CPU/Graphics) of the unit. Simple to see which has AMD.

thanx, KF - too bad I didn't ask the correct question ;(

should have been more clear - I need to know the BRANDS (manufacturers' names) that install AMD.

That may be news to Dell, Toshiba, Lenovo and most of the others I checked

the specs on. That, or they're fibbing about the AMD by listing Intel or

Celeron in its place. Asus was the only one I recall seeing, but only for

their 10" screens, which I can't read.

Anyway, thanks for your time.
