As I write this I'm leaning towards the former simply, because it would be much easier to just get something that's current and possibly discounted as opposed to the price of a new socket motherboard, possibly new case, on top of a new CPU. This is coming from an avid gamer and not a computer wiz who wants the best they can get, but I do highly appreciate future-proofing... as i write this I'm convincing myself into the latter lol
like i said, I'm no computer wiz. I'd appreciate any input or recommendations. My GPU is a 2060, and my monitor is a 1440p/165hz. i usually play only shooting games on lowest settings for max performance, but I still lag. I think that's simply, because I don't have 32gb while having chrome w/+50 running.
