Hello, I recently got my Oculus Quest 2 with a 3rd party Kiwi link cable (USB c to USB c). After all the Oculus updates were complete, I plugged in my Oculus onto my motherboard. Then I opened up the Oculus software on my computer, went to devices, and tried to connect using the cable, but nothing was happening. It just kept searching and it wouldn't stop. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

Didn't your Oculus Quest 2 come with its own cables?

If not I suggest you purchase one from Oculuas Website. I realize it isn't cheap: https://www.oculus.com/accessories/quest-2/

It is possible the cable you have isn't compatible with the Oculus Quest VR .

EDIT: The Kiwi Link cable you purchased does it mention it is compatible with Oculus Quest 2 headset?   I noticed at Amazon there are several 3rd Party Oculus Quest 2 compatible link cables much cheaper than $79.00. 

Is this the Kiwi Link Cable you purchased for your Oculus Quest 2 VR set?

It does say it's compatible with Oculus Q2. And I'm not planning on buying the Oculus Link cable when I can get sometimes even better ones for less the price.
