Tough choice - go to college or play games ????
Throwing this out there. Although I haven't played computer games in decades, so I don't know what's out there. In any event, maybe a good next step for computer games is to start competing with 2 year and 4 year colleges by adding valid class/course material beyond the game, in addition to the mission limited to the game. Maybe that's already going on. If so, post a link. I'd like to see what's current right now.

There are some games out there that teach you digital logic design and optimization skills, but still they are looking like a game. Try google -> Zachtronics. The first few levels are always easy, then you'll get tasks that can last for days or even for weeks to figure out.
