AMD was going to wait until January to announce it, but MSI revealed this shot in a promotional video showing a task manager shot of 8x14 CPU threads (128), so AMD confirmed it in in fact the high end next generation Threadripper model. Clocks and prices are unknown, but we do know it will be Zen 2 based, has a 280w TDP, 288MB cache, and 128 PCIe 4.0 lanes.

I expect more TRX4 processors to be released as the platform matures

I can only post AMD slides as they surface.

Hate to see how expensive the 3990X will be.....
