I'm switching from Intel to AMD. While waiting for the 5950x to become available as I build a new computer, does AMD provide a temporary CPU I could use with the MSI Meg X570 Unify Motherboard? I have purchased all the computer parts I need to build a new computer, but waiting on the 5950x as it is not available anywhere. The return date for all of my parts is reaching the 30-day limit very soon and I haven't had a chance to see if they even work.
Or should I purchase a different AMD CPU and return it once the 5950x becomes available? I do not know the return policies for a used CPU and I'm disappointed how difficult it's been for me to find a 5950x. I hope AMD can help me out.
Any suggestions?
