Should I upgrade cpu? 3800x to 5700x3d.

I just bought an rx 7900 XT (sapphire nitro +)

I feel like I'm not getting what I paid for with this Gpu, but I also know that all components have a part in it.

I get 30fps on sons of the forest on ultra (2k ultra Wide)

Would upgrading from 3800x to 5700x3d make any difference.

I also got warning when I played war thunder on max on directx12. Telling me I ran out of vram so It changed my quality settings to medium.

Upgrading from a Ryzen 7 3800X to a Ryzen 7 5700X3D could improve performance in CPU-bound games due to its increased 3D V-Cache, especially in titles like "Sons of the Forest," where a higher resolution may highlight CPU limitations. However, if you're experiencing VRAM issues in "War Thunder" with your RX 7900 XT, the problem is more likely related to VRAM capacity rather than CPU. The 5700X3D may help in CPU-intensive games, but if your GPU is not being fully utilized or VRAM is running out, upgrading the CPU alone might not resolve all the performance issues. It’s worth monitoring both CPU and GPU usage to determine the true bottleneck.
