Hello! I recently bought an rx 6750xt from XFX and I've been running into some problems while playing FFXIV.
Basically the problem is that my fps drops extremely hard(it literally drops to 5 fps) when loading in a lot of players... it did not happen with my old GPU(RTX 2060)
Full specs:
CPU: Ryzen R5 5600
GPU: rx 6750xt 12 GBs XFX
PSU: MSI Mag A650BN(650w)
RAM: Kingston Fury Beast 16 GBs(2x8) 3200 MT/s Dual Channel
NVMe SSD
...
I've tried many things, here's a list:
-Reseating RAM
-Reseating GPU
-Clean install of drivers using DDU
-Reinstalling windows
-Reinstalling FFXIV
-Clean boot
-Updating BIOS
-Rolling back drivers
-Testing out different RAM sticks
Temps are fine, my CPU doesn't go above 60c when playing games, and my GPU usually sticks around 70c(85c hotspot). I've also monitored other parts around my system as far as temperature goes, and nothing ever goes beyond 70c, so I don't think temps are an issue.
I also don't think it's a bottleneck of any kind, my CPU usually hangs around 30% usage when the fps drops, and my RAM is also fine, doesn't use much of it(around 3gbs)
No overclocks or anything of that nature...
I've tested out other games(Cyberpunk, Ghost of Tsushima, The First Descendant, Helldivers 2...) and they all run really well, smooth 60 fps at max settings, and even ran benchmarks... the GPU did not crash or anything like that, and the results were normal.
As you can see, I'm at my wits' end. I have no idea what's causing this weird issue, and the weirdest thing is that it only happens in a single game, I really want to figure this out so I'd appreciate any help.
