After the rather stark Samsung Magician releases through 5, 6 brings a much improved UI with additional features to supported drives, such as a diagnostic scan, and a fixed Secure Erase bootable drive creator. They also updated their NVMe driver to version 3.2. You'll need to use their 970 download pages to download the new driver version, and either use your current Samsung Magician's update feature to download the new update, or also use either of the 970's download pages.
