I am just writing this post to try and bring up Lenovo laptops with R7 7840HS and 7940HS processors such as LOQ and Legion Slim 5 and 7 lacking support for RYZEN-AI.
It has been nearly 9 months since this issue has been brought up in the lenovo forums and only uptil March this year has a solution come for 1 particular model the IdeaPad 5 pro 14 inch where the IPU was recognized. For the rest of the laptops, the lenovo team has started to not give clear responses and give vague responses even after nearly a year. It would be appreciated if someone from AMD side could help deal with this issue by communicating with Lenovo as during the AMD conference last year, they did mention that those Lenovo devices are supposed to be supporting Ryzen AI and has lead to a miscommunication between AMD Lenovo and its customers in this matter.
