Dear Sir or Madam,
I am currently willing to package aparapi, which is a Java software originally developed by your company, in Debian GNU/Linux.
I think it would be great to have aparapi in Debian, however its inclusion is currently precluded by some requirements of the AMD part of the license, forbidding to export the software or to distribute it in some countries (see the end of ATTRIBUTIONS.md [0]). Would you consider relicensing aparapi by suppressing those requirements, so that it can be distributed in Debian and its derivatives, thus touching a large panel of users in the whole world?
You can visit the website of the current maintainers of aparapi http://aparapi.com/ or the Github repository https://github.com/Syncleus/aparapi where the source code (including ATTRIBUTIONS.md) lies, if you wish.
Thanks a lot for your consideration,
Sincerely yours,
Pierre
