• I am looking for a really cheap Ryzen 7 7700x3d or any good AM5 CPU for gaming. My son worked hard all summer and was able to get a used case and power supply for cheap. He saved enough money to buy a used AM5 motherboard off of marketplace and his friend gave him 2 8gb sticks of ram because he went to RGB and didnt need them. He also upgraded his GPU and sold my son his old 2070 for only $50.00. He found a 256gb SSD in a computer he found in the trash. Now he asked me for a Ryzen 7 7700x3d for Christmas. I have been on disability for the past few years and I can't afford even the cheapest used ones. I have a running mini bike I can trade if you're in Ohio or I'll make payments. If anyone has one that can sell cheap please lmk. It would mean the world to him.

There is currently no processor model 7700X3D.

You may be asking about a 7800X3D and if so, I would caution you to be very suspect about purchasing used or very low priced chips as there has been a rash of fakes being sold on alternative marketplaces due to the popularity of the processor and the shortage of the new 9800X3D.

Retailers are currently selling the 7800X3D for around $450 which is equal to its initial launch MSRP. If you are willing to wait until the 9800X3D stock replenishes and demand for the older part goes down the price may come down.

Alternately if there is a Microcenter near you, there is a 6-core 7600X3D chip that sells at only $300 which is a significant savings over the 7800X3D model. However it is a Microcenter only part.
