Rayzen 7 8845H fail SSD two slot SSD Kingston 2tb Fury Renegate Lenovo thinkbook G16+ AHP

Hello everyone! I bought SSD SFYRD 2tb Kingston fury renegate on 08/26/2024 for a new Lenovo thinkbook G16+ AHP laptop, Rayzen 8845H, 32Gb DDR5, SSD 1TB, there is a second slot for SSD, it was planned to use it for data as an auxiliary one. A copper radiator was glued to the disk and installed in the laptop, but after a while it falls off, freezes, does not pass write tests in crystalmark, and shows unrealistic numbers for read speed, also does not enter the proprietary Kingston ssd manager utility, I entered it once and that's it. I handed it over under warranty, they checked everything supposedly well. I picked it up, nothing had changed, the firmware was 31.6, I wanted to flash the proprietary KSM utility to 31.7, but I could not run the utility. I returned it, made all the screenshots and records, yesterday they replaced it with a new one, firmware 31.7 out of the box, but nothing has changed, everything is the same. I changed it between slots, it did not help, I installed a second Hynix SSD, everything worked in the second slot. Today I installed 1 TB Samsung 980, everything works fine, the problem is only with the purchased SSD SFYRD 2tb Kingston Fury Renegate, possibly a defective batch. I would never have thought that there could be problems with this brand. I updated the laptop to the latest BIOS NLCN33WW, it did not help! By the way, I noticed one pleasant nuance when I bought it, the native Umis on 1TB, showed a result of 3500 MB / s, after updating the BIOS to BIOS version NLCN31WW, it began to show about 7000 MB / s, now I updated it again to NLCN33WW, nothing helped. Maybe there are some thoughts, the disk, by the way, is made in China. HELP!!!

Not sure why this is posted on an AMD forum? Are you drawing a correlation between the laptop having an AMD processor and a Kingston SSD not performing as expected? You may want to post your question on a Kingston support forum, or alternately try Lenovo support.

I was able to get a new Lenovo ThinkBook 14 G6 IRL 14" WUXGA IPS 300nits Anti-glare i5-1335U(1.3GHz)/16Gb DDR5/SSD 512Gb/Iris Xe Graphic Laptop

try the following settings:

Power reset:
Do the following:
1. Turn off the device.
2. Disconnect the AC adapter and other peripherals.
3. Press and hold the power button for 60 seconds.
4. Connect the charger.
5. Turn off the device normally.

Holding the button resets the capacitors on the motherboard, thereby removing excess static power from them. This does not affect your data.
Update drivers: Make sure all your laptop drivers are up to date. You can use Lenovo Vantage to check and update drivers.

Reset BIOS settings: You have already updated your BIOS to the latest version, so simply reset your BIOS to default settings: enter BIOS > press F9 and select Yes > press F10 to save the settings and exit the BIOS menu.

Test your SSD: Try testing your SSD on another computer to make sure there is no problem with the laptop itself. If the problem persists, it may indeed be a faulty batch of SSD.

Contact Kingston Support: Since you have already replaced your SSD and the problem persists, we recommend contacting Kingston Support for further assistance. They may be able to provide more information or suggest other solutions.

Check your temperatures: Make sure your SSD is not overheating. A copper heatsink can help, but it is important that it is installed correctly and does not interfere with the cooling of other components.

OS update: You should also check for updated system devices and scan and repair system file corruption using the DISM.exe and sfc /scannow commands. Detailed instructions are provided in this article.

Hope these tips help.

SSD SFYRD 2tb Kingston fury renegate, in the end without a radiator, in stock passed all tests, did not fall off, the temperature was 70 degrees, now it is on my laptop with a copper radiator, thermal pads, the temperature at fall off does not exceed 50 degrees! in general, on a laptop on the platform SSD SFYRD 2tb Kingston fury renegate refuses to work!!! Lenovo forum suggested resetting the power capacitors with a certain startup sequence ... also did not help!
