In Valorant, my network RTT averages around 40 ms, but the total latency exceeds 70 ms when combined with processing delay. This indicates that the processing delay alone is over 30 ms. Why is the processing of received data taking so long? It consistently stays above 20 ms, no matter the circumstances.
I’ve set all settings to the lowest possible, and both my CPU and GPU usage remain below 20% under these conditions. Despite this, the processing delay persists.
Shouldn’t the processing delay be under 5 ms? This issue is causing noticeable game lag and problems like teleporting (stuttering). Could it be related to my hardware? I’m using an AMD RX 5500M GPU and a Ryzen 5 CPU with 16GB RAM. Please advise.

Last i checked, graphics has zero to do with ping, or latency.
Move closer to a server. Enjoy.
Hi, Thank you for your quick response.
Well, I never mentioned about ping. It's about the processing delay of the received packets. The problem is some driver-related, or something that is making the processing of the packets take 20+ ms. My ping is already 30-40 ms, which is good; it's the additional processing delay that is causing the problem.
