I've been working on securing my FPGA designs and decided to follow the UG908 guide for encrypting and authenticating the bitstream. However, I've run into a roadblock that I'm hoping to get some help with.
After meticulously following the steps outlined in the UG908 manual, I expected to access the encryption and authentication options within the bitstream configuration settings. Unfortunately, these options don't appear for me, and I'm at a loss as to why.
Here's what I've done so far:
- Reviewed the UG908 guide to ensure I'm not missing any prerequisites.
- Checked my FPGA and toolchain versions to ensure compatibility.
- Attempted to access the encryption/authentication settings through multiple entry points in the software.
Despite these efforts, the options for bitstream encryption and authentication are nowhere to be found in my configuration settings.
I'm wondering if there could be a version mismatch or if specific modules need to be installed that I'm not aware of. Also, is it possible that these options are not available for all FPGA models or toolchain versions?
Any advice, insights, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
