Is it Safe to Use a 100W Ugreen Charger for My IdeaPad Pro 5 14" 7840HS?

Hi everyone,I recently left the original charger for my IdeaPad Pro 5 14" 7840HS in another country and currently only have a 100W Ugreen charger with me.When I connected this Ugreen charger to my laptop via USB-C, I noticed a message indicating that the power output is lower than the laptop's native charger. I'm wondering if it's okay to continue using this charger without negatively affecting my laptop's battery life. Or is it better to purchase the native charger? Any guidance would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Some laptops will throttle if a lower charger is detected but for battery health, the slower the better.

So long as its lower than the manufacturer and it indicates that it is charging.

On the other hand if it is higher it will likely cause damage.

Any laptop that I'm familiar with has a proprietary connection port and won't allow third party connectors.

If it ain't broke; don't fix it!
