Installing windows 11 error a media your computer needs is missing?
I tried installing windows 11 onto my pc, but it gave me the same error no matter what i tried; A media that your computer needs is missing. The hard drive i was trying to install it on already has linux on it. I tried switching usb port, fiddling with BIOS settings and all that stuff that you can read online, but nothing really did anything. Any advice or am i lost?
Cheers kaser

Windows 11 requires TPM - you don't have to encrypt your drive but it has to be enabled. Likewise you have to have UEFI enabled and the drive has to be formatted in GPT, not the older MBR format. If you have an existing Linux partition on the drive you're trying to install to I suspect it doesn't meet those requirements.
