My idle chipset temps are 65-72C for my X570 ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero, but these tend to be the highest temps the chipset reaches since under load the GPU fans right next to it cool it down (as it has a zero-rpm mode). I understand that it is passively cooled, but is this range normal/expected for idle-light browsing, or do I need to make some adjustments?
I'm on the latest bios + chipset drivers
Case: Meshify 2 with 4x140mm fans intake, 1x140mm fan + 360mm rad exhaust
Mobo: X570 ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero
CPU: 5800x3d
GPU: EVGA FTW3 RTX 3080ti
