With Nvidia, not only do we receive direct and regular support and contact with their engineers we actually get sit down meetings with their engineers when we visit game conferences. Nvidia also prepare us custom DLLs for use and testing. Nvidia work with both us and Epic on this.
We have been asking for AMD to help us with both driver support, and assistance to implement AMD features since Icarus launched. So far, we have been unable to receive any engineering contact or support, for even drivers alone - let alone advanced feature support.
Sadly, AMD driver support has just not been able to be achieved. Hopefully someone from AMD replies to us some time and we are able to get engineering discussion, support, and actual driver support for ICARUS."
