GPU cache speed measuring
I have no clue what I am asking. I don't even know where this thread should be posted.
Measuring GPU cache speed entered my brain this morning. How to do it? What am I looking for? Is it even possible?
I guess I am thinking of future viability of SAM cache sizing. Would bigger be better?
Does anyone know where by brain is trying to go with this? LOL

Oh no, you want the secret sauce to pass on to nv.
Or just wait for the whitepaper.

Is the secret in the sauce? Or is the sauce the secret? *mind blown*

So anyway, SAM = Resizable BAR.
What you find on web ?

Not much tbh, but the theory of GPU cache speeds being maxed out during SAM enabled usage makes me believe that increasing the cache size for future GPU models might be a thing.
I'm just letting my brain run away with this one. I literally have zero data on all of this.

No doubt there will be tech reviews sooner or later.
Increase cache size in future, yeh probably go that way ?, but doubt they'll say anything this early.
Upcoming advances are going to be kept pretty tight from public now on i think.
