Been looking for info on thunderbolt compatibility in the FX 9590. Does it have it? I have it installed in a motherboard that has the Thunderbolt header but before I buy a thunderbolt card, Im trying to find out if the processor even supports it.

The CPU, in this case does not care. You have to find a compatible Addin Card for your board. Plug it in, connect it and use it.

Thank you. Now onto my motherboard that has the header but there is nothing in the manual that talks about it lol.

May I ask which board do you use? They often dont mention the TB-Header because in that era Intel was very strict where and when you could and should use it.

Hi. Im using an ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0

Its and old motherboard so Im also looking for a better motherboard that supports PCIe 3.0 which my current one doesn't.

So it should work with the ThunderboltEX II from Asus afaik.
