I have a problem with games like Minecraft or Stardew Valley with full screen. When I start the game in full screen it gets stuck. I think it's an OpenGL problem.
Why don't you start with your full system specs and all software/driver version info.
Rx 6600 8gb sapphire pulse
Ryzen 5 3400g
16gb ram
I don't think it's a hardware problem...
Is the 3400G IGP disabled? What version of Adrenalin are you using?
Yes it was disabled but that was not the problem.
Could you try the latest 24.12.1 Adrenalin driver?
If this issue still be observed on the latest driver, Could you please share the Display Settings and provide the models + screen resolution? How many displays are you using, HDMI or DP? Provide more useful/detailed information about this issue will help us reproduce this issue and confirm if it is the OpenGL driver causing it.
besides, please provide the following information:
- game title(s) and version plus link to the game(s) (e.g. from Steam)
- in-game graphics settings
- OS version
- driver version
- in-Adrenalin-Panel settings (if not the default)
- your GPU and CPU
Thanks,
I recently changed my PC from the Ryzen 5 3400g to the Ryzen 5 5600x, the graphics are still the same Rx6600 8GB VRAM Sapphire Pulse. I did a complete format from an .iso image and installed Windows 11. The problem continues to persist when I try to open Minecraft in full screen it gets stuck. I have read in other forums that some people downgrading to a previous version of adrenalin software solve it. I think it's a problem with the adrenalin software, I play it with window mode, once you enter Minecraft all bugged you press f11 and it will go out of full screen but it will continue to be bugged once you press f11 you close the game and open it again.
@didier09 does your monitor has OVERCLOCK MODE and you enable it ?
you can refer the last comment of: AMD-Gfx-Drivers/issues/36
I have overclocked the monitor to 75hz because it is 60
Did you solve this?
@Luzzio an internal bug ticket has been created to track this type of issue, I will update the status here AMD-Gfx-Drivers/issues/36, you can follow it.
btw, disable overclocked mode can be a temporary solution.
