That pits this 8C/16T 4ghz/5ghz Turbo processor against the Ryzen 3900X, a 12C/24T 3.8ghz/4.?ghz Turbo processor...Question is what motherboards it will run on, and if anyone will buy it...

Add the cost of new mobo/ram, and of course a new current spec psu (V.252/292).

Not to mention a $100+ liquid cooler. If TomsHardware's sample is representative of the line, Intel was aggressive on stock voltage settings.
