My Ryzen 5700X3D with 6600XT restarts if I only have the pci-e power saving option enabled in Windows power options.
Then it pops up in the event viewer: Cache Hierarchy Error.
It's probably the AMD card and AMD processor combination that affects this as well. It could be different with Nvidia graphics.
I also noticed that my power saving doesn't work regardless of the settings, because PCI-E is always x16, and on previous cards it dropped to e.g. x8 1.1 when the saving worked (probably in idle).
I don't know if it's a problem with the bios (MSI B550 gaming, latest beta bios), driver, power profile (I have default, restored recently). I know that many people have these problems with resetting and freezing the computer when they have Ryzens with Cache Hierarchy Error.
I tried changing a lot of options (bios, windows) and only disabling pci-e power saving (ASPM?) gave stability. And I'll repeat, the computer resets no matter when, also when watching a video on YouTube or in every game. My PC is functional and this is software problem, because I recently replaced the processor and on two NEW 5700XDs i have this cache hierarchy problem.
There are no restarts with Ryzen 5500, but saving pci-e doesn't work anyway. Oh, I don't have a slider in the power options at all.
