So I am planning to buy an external monitor for my laptop (Acer Nitro 5 2019 or AN515-43 with a GTX1650 GPU). The monitor I plan to buy is a monitor with freesync premium and I just wanted to know if I can utilize that external monitor's freesync premium with just an HDMI. Also, will it be worth it be worth it to buy a freesync premium monitor since my games mostly run at 120 fps below and I have read that freesync premium monitors have 120 minimum fps in FHD and if my fps goes lower than that, it utilizes the LFC only. My overall question is will I be able to use all those features with just an HDMI on my laptop to the monitor? I also read that freesync premium monitors can only be utilized by GTX GPUs with display ports only, is that right?
