Daisychain Psu
My Psu came with two conjoined Pcie cables so it is impossible for me to plug two pcie cables into my RX 6700xt. Should I return and refund, buying another psu or is daisychaining Safe?

Some say its fine but my personal preference is separate cables. What PSU is it ? Most normally come with 2 conjoined Pcie cables. What i did before i got the cablemod cables was remove the secondary plug on both standard cables.

If it's an option to easily replace the PSU for you and it bothers you - go for it, most people find separate cables to be "more optimal".
I, personally, have been daisychaining my 6700XT for 2 years now and haven't had any problems. All temps are fine, performance is exactly as expected. So it's really up to you how much it worries you personally and how easy it is for you to get a different PSU. My opinion on the matter is that it's only a problem if you're using more power-hungry GPUs.

it's within the return no questions asked window and I found another PSU for the same price with an extra cable. So I think I'm gonna do that, if just for futureproofing if anything else. But thanks.

At least you made your decision quickly. I personally almost never return an item, unless it is obviously defective or broken. I try to do enough research before purchasing so I know what I want and need in a particular component.
As Albert Einstein said, "I could have done so much more with a Big Al's Computer!".
