Hi guys and girls.
I posted few days back in graphics section regarding stutters after purchasing 6650xt. After initially thinking i had solved the issue i was wrong and it returned today. After huffing and puffing for a bit i had a brain wave and decided to move my installation of resident evil 4 and rocket league to my Kingston Sata ssd instead of the Crucial P3 1TB M.2 PCIe which i had been using as secondary drive. Amazingly this really does seem to have been the issue because both games run without a single problem now!! I've spent over 70 hours trying to work this out and seems the new nvme drive is the issue
My question is why would running my games from the Crucial P3 1TB M.2 PCIe as secondary drive with windows on the the Kingston sata ssd be a problem ? Why would this be causing frame spikes ?. It's confused me and i don't really understand as the purpose of buying the m.2 was for the purpose of using it for games only as the kingston is only 480gb.
If anyone who knows about this stuff i would appreciate some help on the matter.
Thanks
Darren
