I never done any overclocking but i will probably do some basic OC in the future. I don't know if i am wrong by going for X470 mobos rather than B350 mainly because of durability and better VRM (i don't care about RGB and advanced and complicated overclocking)
So i am trying to get a 16Gb (2x16) 3200Mhz ram under 160$ that will work out of the box at full speed or over 3000Mhz with just enabling XMP without advanced overclocking.
I can't buy the G Skill Flare X mainly because the 250$ price.
And for what i have found, msi B350 is the only decent mobo that have th G skill ripjaw V F4-3200C16D-16GVRB on its memory support list, but i am concerned about its quality and VRM.
So i have been told to go with the Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 Gb (2x8) 3000Mhz with X470 mobos and its on the memory support list of Gigabyte X470 ultra ga.. and msi X470 pro ca....
But by knowing that mobos BIOS are frequently updated i am worried that not getting the G skill 3200Mhz ram is not a good idea as it will probably get supported by msi X470 mobos (because it is supported by msi B350 Tomahawk) in the future.
Please if anyone can help, i don't mind switching to another mobo with long durability and good VRM and get a guaranteed compatible 3200Mhz 16 Gb memory
PS: I want to build a pc that handles 3d rendering, video editing, 3D animation, gaming and streaming so i am between going with ryzen 5 2600X or ryzen 7 2700X (2700X may be overkill for me so probably i will go with 2600X).
