On multiple AMD systems running Windows 11 24H2, I've observed consistent abnormally CPU spikes by Antimalware Service Executable (MsMpEng.exe) during basic window dragging operations.

This occurs across:
Desktop: Ryzen 7 9700X + Radeon RX 7700 XT (Adrenalin 24.12.1)
Laptop: Ryzen 5 3500U + Vega 8 (Adrenalin 24.9.1)

But normal in:
Desktop: Ryzen 5 5600 + GTX 1660Super (572.70)

This is truly perplexing. I can't identify any direct link between these two processes. At first, I thought it was a bug in Windows 11, but Nvidia GPU is working fine, so my best guess is that the AMD graphics driver might have inadvertently triggered Windows Defender's scanning mechanism.

I observed this as well. I recently purchased RX6600 a couple of days ago, I didn't really notice anything until a couple of days ago. Exact same behaviour, dragging around any windows around the desktop spikes Antimalware Service Executable
