So I updated my 3900x to a 5900x in mid March. Checked the promotional time period and that was good for the free month of xbox gamepass for PC. Checked my recite from the retailer and... no pass. Queried the retailer and they were 'out of codes'. Came to AMD's site and checked the terms... and they are OUT of codes.
So if you are planning on benefiting from that free xbox game pass code, perhaps wait for that promotion to expire in JUNE as they are already out of codes and you might be able to save 10 dollars or more on your CPU/GPU purchase. (With naturally decreasing prices of hardware going back into effect.)
