Anybody know of a way to get a code for this: AMD Gift - UNCHARTED Game Bundle directly from AMD. I ordered a Ryzen 7 5700x less than 24 hours before the promotion from Newegg went live and their customer service won't honor it. They have told me that the bundle code is through the Manufacturer (AMD) and to contact AMD for help. I have invoice receipts to prove that I ordered the CPU less than a day before the promotion went up.
Newegg customer support has been extremely unhelpful. They told me to return the unopened box and reorder the bundle. Considering what Gamers Nexus on Youtube went through with returning unopened packages, I'm hesitant to return the CPU just for a promotion code. Its seems wasteful to return an unopened CPU for that. Amazon has the same promotion going on and according to the promotion description, its just a code sent by email. I wonder why Newegg can't do the same.
Am I SoL or is there anybody I can contact with my proof of purchase/invoice that I bought the CPU shorty before the promotion. I'd appreciate any help I can get here, as there are others on /r/buildapcsales that are in the same predicament as me. I would like to pass any help I get here to them too as Newegg is being shady AF. Thanks.
