UPDATE:: After doing more testing I found that the 7900XT is very performant with high utilization in older destinations. For some reason, Destinations including Beyond Light and Lightfall are not as performant, often dipping to 80% utilization, including intense scenes.
I went from a 3080 10 GB to 7900 XT. Rest of my system is 5800X, 64GB, Win11 latest. fTPM, PBO disabled. Sings and dances on a tight rope.
Noticing large frame time inconsistencies with Destiny 2. Areas of the game that shouldn't dip dramatically and didn't on my 3080 are having issues.
GPU utilization averages low to mid 80% with max settings 1440UW. Other games stay pinged to max utilization.
Destiny 2's engine doesn't play well with RSR or other features which is fine. I'm wondering if anyone else has found a solution either with the in-game settings, drivers, OS, or BIOS to help.
Card has been great but this one title for some reason has a large performance hit.
