5700 XT Junction (Hot Spot) Temps

Anyone else having issues with this?  My GPU temp is running  full load at a nice 65C with an aggressive fan curve and a repaste with Kryonaut meanwhile my hot spot temp is running a full 30C higher and has gone as high as 97C. The repaste was done correctly with even application and 0.7mm washers to get more pressure on the cooler. I just finally got this card working right and now I'm worried about these temps. Anyone having any issues with this or luck with a custom fan curve?  This thing sounds like a jet engine at load now.

A few owners club forum sites you might want to ask for comparison, overclockers uk, overclock.net, guru3d.

It is a sensor Readout Problem , try to install WIn 10 Insider Preview Build 18950.rs_prerelease.190726-1645 , it helpt with many problems and brings a few Other ones.

The Biggest Problem for now is not the junction Readout sensor its the Voltage Problem in the VRAM the memmory its still to hot  even with correct readouts 10 Degres C higher than the PackageUnbenannt.jpg

Here are my temperatures, although note that I received the card yesterday afternoon and have not really been playing games much.

  • Idles around 40-50c
  • Under load can reach 90c+

Will update with more data when I have had a chance to game. The high readings you see are due to benchmarks. On a side note I'll share comparisons of my benchmark results going from RX 580, Vega 56 and now the 5700 XT. Some temps are displayed in the attached screenshots.
